it’s winter time! whether it’s about the excitement that comes with the season, or the joy that comes with holiday festivities, we want to see how you capture the spirit of winter!

submission guidelines

• all submissions must be original and fit the contest theme, and must adhere to the server rules.
• plagiarism, art theft, and ai-generated works are not allowed and will result in instant disqualification.
• please avoid including text in the server banner. logos and watermarks are acceptable so long as they don’t cover the main visual elements.

artwork format:

• png/jpg
• minimum size of 960x540 (larger is fine, but smaller may be disqualified!)
• 16:9 ratio is preferred—please ensure that all important details will be seen within the banner. you may refer to the template for the visible area here.

prize and awards

• discord server banner (dec. 10 - jan. 10)
• special discord role
• personal letter from character of choice 💝

how to submit?

• submit your works in this form!
• though not required, feel free to share your works on the server!

faqs

what games/stories can i draw for?

any of rosesrot’s games and/or stories! this includes (but is not limited to): seraphim slum, killer chat, gluttony gods, etc.

can i make traditional works or does it have to be digital?

yes, traditional works are totally fine and may be submitted!

i don’t draw/i make edits/i make fanfiction—can i still join?

it is totally fine to create other works for this event, however we wouldn’t be able to use it for the banner. please look forward to future events for other types of fanworks ! 🫶 if you create fanfiction, we encourage you to join dis(m)ember!

we encourage people to try their best regardless of skill!

can i make multiple submissions?

in the spirit of fairness, we encourage only one (1) submission per participant. you are free to create multiple works and then decide on one to submit!

can i include original characters in my submission?

unfortunately, we would like only rosesrot characters to be drawn for this event, as it will be used to represent the server as the server banner. please look forward to future events that will allow original characters !

i wasn’t able to finish my work on time—am i now disqualified/unable to submit?

all works must be submitted within the duration of the contest submission period, and any works not finished on time are no longer able to be submitted 🙏

we heard your calls for a fanfic/writing prompt month: so… welcome to dis(m)ember, the server’s first-ever prompt event!

information

the dis(m)ember prompt writer role is now available in the discord’s roles & channel list! you will be pinged when there’s a new prompt to write about. you may write about any of rosesrot’s games and/or stories! these will all count as a part of dis(m)ember.

rules

• since this is a casual event, there aren’t any official rules: only your creativity! the only true “rule” is that your story must relate to the prompt in some way, shape, or form.
• you are free to write sexually explicit nsfw content, but please keep in mind that this won’t be acknowledged as part of dis(m)ember in an official capacity!
• of course, you are more than welcome to write for past prompts/prompts that you have missed or weren’t able to complete in time!
  • ocs are allowed as long as the story still contains at least one rosesrot character!

where do i upload?

• we recommend uploading your stories to ao3! your story will be collected in an ao3 collection page: “a rotten dis(m)ember - 2024” to commemorate all of you who participated in this event.
• to officially include your fic as a part of dis(m)ember, please link your fic through this form !

rewards

• if you join and submit a piece, you will receive a “dis(m)ember 2024” role on discord to commemorate your participation in this event!
• entries will be raffled to get a personal letter from character of choice! each submission will count as one entry into the raffle, so essentially the more you submit the higher your chances!
