Is it just me or am I getting stuck at the part where you choose which serial killer inspires you the most? They're all crossed off and I'm sort of confused 😅
to unlock the options you just have to flirt w them !! so pick the options with a heart at the end or a winky face & they'll unlock the routes ^^ if there isnt a option w a heart or winky face just pick the one that sounds the friendliest
Love the game so far ^^ I first tried Ronin's route but uh.. I suck at finding things and dyslexia doesn't help lol ANYWAYS I played V's route. LOVED IT. I went back to Ronin after and keep trying so I hope to someday figure it out
Pay attention to the capital letters before the call that has you tell him his name. It is a first and last name which did throw me off too. If you still have trouble and can't find it there are youtube videos of walkthroughs. (helped me)

It's Ronin Beaufort, you have to read the capital letters in a few paragraphs he sends you, you could also just play gluttony gods, he's a character in that and it has his full name

this was SOOO good!!! im not completely finished yet but this game RIPPED MY HEART OUT. i felt like i was making some of the biggest choices of my life while texting FAKE SERIAL KILLERS.
also, small bug. after angel says sth about alpacas and the bot getting kicked, i missed a part cause i was looking at the picture and it auto-forwarded. upon hitting the back button, i was sent to the main screen and lost my progress til the moment
also, in the vc call that lets u ask feli, luca and sunset about the LI's, no matter which one you choose i think they force you to make your second dialogue choice about the route youre currently on
hi, im having trouble playing ronin's route. i already played his route just a day ago but i loved the game so much i decided to play it again. i first played with the 1.0 ver and i was just playing the 1.1 and even though im saying and doing the exact things i did the first time i played, i cant seem to get his route anymore and the game only gives me the option of misaki. so i was hoping someone could help. thank you so much <33
Hello! Trying to gather some more information. When creating your character can you remember if you chose the same info in terms of your character is interested in, as well as the same roles in the discord server?
when i replayed for the first time i tried new options but when i saw i only got misaki, i played again with the exact same roles/name/personality from my first gameplay but it didn't work.i still only got misaki. all i know i didn't do exactly like my first gameplay was my appearance but I'm not sure exactly what i did for it then.
I don't think that matters too, honestly! I've replayed with the same traits and was able to enter all the routes! I think you just have to show some interest in ronin and you should be able to open his route and try not to be too sus
maybe thats why, i always try not to get caught but i must have picked the wrong options 😭 but ill try to uninstall and install it again. maybe it'll work then. but ill wait for the devs opinion too.
From what it sounds like, you should be able to unlock Ronin's route! As StressedArtist suggested, try showing some more interest in Ronin with some of the responses and see if that helps!
heyo i love this game so much so far, i downloaded it from the attached files at first but it bugged. for some reason, every time i try to load a scene i have saved, it loads a different one and every save loads that same one. i saw the patched up link after, downloaded that instead, my saves were still there but they still have that same problem. now im kinda scared to make more saves, i feel like they will do the same thing too lol. does anyone else have this problem too?
hii if u could fill out our bug report form (and maybe send the save files my way) that would be amazing! we are aware of this bug and trying to fix it atm but it’s really difficult for us to reproduce for some reason.
Hey! I'm so sorry to hear about the weird bug you're experiencing... I've been investigating the issue but failing to reproduce it on my end. So I'm chiming in to add to Rose's response, but please send us the save file that is bugged that keeps being loaded & then if you have it, another save file that *should* be close to it before the bugged saved was made.
You can find all .save files in the game folder > saves folder, and they look like 1-1-LT1.save, 1-2-LT1.save etc.! The number corresponds to the save file's position in the save/load grid in game, so if the bugged save is for example, at the start of the second row, then it should be 1-4-LT1.save.
After sending us the save files, please delete the bugged save (by hovering over the slot in the save/load screen in game, and then pressing Delete on your keyboard. A pop up confirm should appear asking if you want to delete it.) and downloading the newest version of the game from the attached files on this Itch.io page (1.2.2). Try and load the other saves and see if the other saves behave correctly! If not, please report back and let me know.

Holy eff I didn't expect something that came across my dash as a random jam entry (you're all queens and kings for taking part in these events (☆□☆)) to be this fleshed out, complex, and so much fun! As someone who works in publishing, seeing this cousin of the "writer who has their own FBI agent" joke as a game made my day/week/month.
(All iterations of my MC have, so far, used "The Ghostwriter" as their made-up serial killer moniker and you can pry that from my cold, dead fingers.)
To add a little flavor to this comment section I have to praise V as a character, he's fantastic. The whole vigilante thing offset by the REST of him is *chef's kiss*. The "feeding the animals as a first date idea" bit had me howling, 10/10 would enjoy giving some presumably dangerous animals morsels of le boyfriend's ~righteous~ kills.
Of course, Ronin is also a riot, and I - in a spoiler for anyone not done with his route a bit further in this paragraph, you have been warned - had to go for his, uh, "good" ending several times before I came here thinking I was hopelessly dumb only to find out I had the pre-patch version installed. Somehow it all added to the experience. Crazy asshole deserves to be stabbed to death a few times before he gets a kiss :D
I still have the other two routes left (I have been pacing myself! and saving the femme fatale for last hh) but I'm already reccing this to all of my friends, even the straight male gamers who've never even come close to a VN, much less a dating sim; that's how much fun I'm having. You rock for making this. Thank you~~~~

I love love love love V sm, his "good" ending made me wanna cry wahh, idk if its just me or the game but i cant get around him being arrested, this man has my whole hearttt
*whispers* when you have to bullshit your way through the surprise visit from the police, go for answers 1 - 1 - 2 (+ 1, not that there's any other option for the fourth one)
just left a review so will probs be repeating myself, but this game was AMAZING! i finished each route once and got a 50/50 split of good and bed ends, so now i need to either hurt myself or save my feelings to get the other ends lolz. thus far, i lovvvvveeeeddd angel's route! this is such a fun game and i can't wait to see what you'll do with it next!! in the meantime i'll keep trying to get all 8 ends!

Hi there! The availability of the options is based on two things:
1. your character's sexuality (chosen at the start)
2. the approval you got from each character with your interactions so far.
Don't worry, I had the same issue at first!
Hint: make sure you choose the one you want to romance on the previous screen to improve your chances!

yes I did, I clicked on the killerchat file type that says 'application'. Even if I click on it, it wont open. nothing shows up.
