A reporter by day, an aspiring writer by night: you've been asking all the important questions on the dark web.
Like, how do you bury a body? How do you kill someone with a crowbar with the right angle to cause blunt-force trauma? What's the best way to hide from law enforcement?
If you're to write a good crime book, this is how you'll do it.

Yup, you heard us right! Killer Chat is a dark satire romance chatsim where you date serial killers. Pretend to be a serial killer, get inspiration for your book, fall in love, and try not to call the cops through a whirlwind six months with your murderous beau of choice. Who knows? You might find your happily ever after... or headline the news as a gruesomely lovesick corpse. It's honestly up to you.

I just finished a couple of paths, and I just found this game so good. The principle of having some enigma and useful things in the message so you need to concentrate on the text was fun. Characters are great, and in some way you get attached to them. I enjoyed it so much, and the artwork too. I find the story really interesting and new. An amazing game to start the year; I will surely buy the DLC and other games! Thank you for making such great games! ;)
i wish i could play this but im stuck on android for now, i hope in the future there is plans to make it downloadable for android <33
the game seems to crash no matter what i do when loading up character creation and if i at all click anything while the game is crashing it bluescreens my whole pc. any potential fixes or workarounds?

So I'm new at this, how do I play the game? I downloaded it but I don't know what to do next
you gotta open the zipped file (the file you downloaded) in File Explorer and then press 'Extract all'. when it's all finished you open the extracted file until you see an application named "KillerChat". open that up and it should open the game. if you can't figure it out you can also play it on Steam

i never been able to get the rest of the endings for Misaki and Angel. i tried youtube and everything, but it failed me. so i gave up, that was a long time ago though, but what i would like to say is that i didnt know Ronin was trans till after i saw all the fan art of him. and i would say thats pretty surprising

this may or may not be a really dumb question (and one I'm not even sure the creator is gonna see ^^;) but I'm new to the franchise and got HOOKED. naturally some questions popped up as I was exploring the games.
in the span of like 3 days (lmfao help) I've played kc original, then the Christmas dlc, then gluttony gods, skimmed through basically the whole of rosesrot's Tumblr posts (?) and just now read the halloween special docs and I can't help but wonder: is Ther and Angel supposed to have this many parallels on purpose? I know that in kc! Ther is deceased and Angel became Ronin's girlfriend after that, but there are just so many parallels across the games and the halloween special that I can't help but wonder if they are the same-ish person? POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD AAHH: in the Christmas dlc we see references to Ther from GG when Angel is acting uncomfortable but hides the truth pretending she's fine. Ronin then says it "brings him back" or smth along those lines I can't remember the exact wording, which is obviously about how Ther also liked to pretend everything is fine in GG to be the perfect Estridge. I wasn't too stuck on this as I figured it was just a throwback moment for kc!Ronin and his dead lover in this au. but there has also been references of the quote "I love you a little" in the halloween special and I think somewhere else? Angel definitely said it in the special and that threw me off a bit because this was quite an important quote by Ther in GG... and then there's the name Angel which parallels somewhat to Angelwood, them having the same VA but ig that's not really the most important thing...
anw just a thought, all's to say I absolutely adore rosesrot's work and would love to know more about each character <3
they have parallels to each other but they’re very much not the same person.
aaah i actually figured that one out after exploring the franchises in more depth! rookie mistake on my part and looking back i actually see how clever those parallels are. says a lot about how much ronin used to project ther onto angel/loves the traits that are similar to ther which he finds on angel </3 thanks sm for taking the time to read through and responding though!!

Alright, look. I adore this game. It's absolutely wonderful! It's so fun, I adore Ronin. But I had to jump through hoops to figure out if the guidebook for the overkill dlc was on itch or not cause the link in the game only lead me to steam. Then, after I already paid for the overkill dlc, I shouldnt have to pay another 7 dollars for a guidebook? I'm literally so damn broke, I got the overkill dlc for a pick me up. And because I'm autistic trying to figure stuff out via brute force would only upset me further for this already very dark month for me. I went to go and ask the official tumblr about it but it's only accepting asks about a couple from Gluttony Gods and to ask questions about killer chat I have to pay money to use patreon or kofi or join a discord for a single question? I don't want to be rude but I genuinely don't have the money to spare for such things and the last thing I want to do is join a discord only to leave it immediately after for one question. As I said, I love this game, but charging for the guidebook when people get confused easy is.....not exactly the best business practice when people have already bought something. Please consider adding a guidebook alongside the dlc purchases. I love this game and I will happily pay for dlcs and the expanded version is out.
hello! the overkill dlc is rather intuitive so you wouldn’t really need to “brute force” any endings and the like since the main gameplay is just completing moments.
the guidebook is a comprehensive guide to not just all achievements, but creator’s commentary, character bios, original edition’s guide itself, and the like - and it took me a lot of time to make, as did the overkill dlc for me to write and program. i understand wanting it to come with the dlc, though the original game is free, with over 60k+ words. i’ve already given away months of time to make something for everyone to enjoy for free. i don’t think it’s so much of an ask to be paid for my time now.
there are also full gameplays of the overkill dlc for solutions on youtube, for a purchase-free option, which you’re welcome to look into.

I loved this game. I had originally played Glutony Gods first, and I love the fact that Ronin mentions Ther in his route. I absolutely love Ronin and love to be able to see more of him.
